Triple statement for data protection and security on the (semantic) web

The ESWC 2014 panel was about data protection and security. To bootstrap the panel, we were asked to chose three statements. My triple statement was:
  1. semantics are a double-edged weapon for security;
  2. deployment requires security on every floor;
  3. security is much more than a technical problem.
I also insisted on the fact that beyond prevention we need also to study ways to monitor, trace, detect, and chase leaks of data, because "copy" is a basic action in computer science and there will be leaks.
